   Yeah, like basis vectors.  They intersect, but point in different directions.  The vectors together define a much larger space than either defines by itself.  Examples: I never do videos, or sports.  Not because I don’t enjoy them, I just don’t follow them with any regularity.  But now I know that the ghost Max Headroom is haunting the internet.

   Ah, that makes sense. I thought it was some sort of political statement, which is why I was puzzled: from reading your blog we have far more to agree about than disagree about, politically.
