How to not be stupid

I’m recommending this — especially item #7 — to my students, right now.

Tip from Homeschool Math Blog by way of MathandText.

I visited you tonight and after reading the content in the link (on your latest post), started immediately copying content from #7. I was so excited. I was going to blog it.

Then I realized that I was indirectly responsible for it.

Oh well, I’m going to make a post of it anyway. Fantastic stuff!

Dr Riggins’ advice exactly nails what I’ve been trying to teach my
undergraduates for years.  As I read and think more these
ideas,  the closer I am to trashing ten years of
theorem-proof-example lectures in favor of frantic,  messy,
deep-end-of-the-pool teaching.  I’ve blathered a bit about it
under the "directions" post on your blog, but I’m still trying to work
out the details of a sometimes scary pedagogy.

I would like to learn about computers and know how to do different things and what site to go to and just on how to search for the right thing and know what to do about it,but some people just think I am stupid and tell me in a way without saying it but I know I’m not I just have trouble understanding. what can I do about it?
