Mary Borman wants to be the first Down Syndrome athlete to complete the Women’s Ironman Half Marathon. She just might do it.
My wife pointed out to me that Mary seems to have a very supportive family, so much so that she has had cosmetic surgery to soften her appearance as a Down Syndrome individual. What parent of means would NOT spend any amount to improve the life of their child?
Anything Mary’s parents spent dwindles in comparison to the contribution of real estate developer Gordon Hartman and his wife Maggie. For their daughter Morgan, they created Morgan’s Wonderland, the world’s first theme park designed with individuals with special needs in mind and built for everyone’s enjoyment.

All this prompts a question: there are multimillionaires galore in America, but only ONE Morgan’s Wonderland. Why?
