Getting outside for a ride is always a good idea:
Riding without a helmet is not.
I see the same thing at ski resorts every year; kids (and often the wife) with goggles and helmets, and Dad looking cool with shades and a ballcap. How cool are you gonna look drooling in a wheelchair after a major head injury? And will you and your family be able to make it on Social Security and Obamacare?
