Articles that make you dumb

Marissa Taylor has a WSJ piece about "Books and Music that Make You Dumb" which points to a stats hack by Caltech’s Virgil Griffith which plots the tastes in books and music against average SAT score for various colleges. Too bad that neither Griffith nor Taylor have ever heard of an ecological fallacy.
