Now THERE’S a suggestion!

In a NYT article about animals gaining "human" rights, reporter Donald McNeil, Jr, observes that " philosophers who slip into dementia may be lashed to their beds…"  Given the enormous amount of grief committed in the name of pernicious philosophies during the 20th century, should we wait for the dementia?
