Yup, that’ll solve the problem.

A new, improved intergovernmental report on Global Warming is coming out, and France will mark the occasion by turning off the lights on the Eiffel Tower for 5 minutes. Wouldn’t it be more useful to replace the incandescent bulbs with fluorescent ones?

Update (4 February).  The Instapundit has found some fluorescent lights he likes.  Combine that with the fact that Wal-Mart is pushing them, and the greenies will all be burning candles.  Didn’t I just read something about the Dutch and palm oil?
