Global warming, my sweet patootie

Every time the Save The Planet handwringers crank up the volume about impending doom, Mother Nature gives them–and the rest of us–a good swift kick. Right now it’s 34 degrees* outside, with frozen rain in the forecast, and the first two days of the Spring(!) Semester have been canceled due to inclement weather (and impassable roads).

*this is San Antonio, TEXAS! It’s NEVER 34 in the daytime.

Update (17 Jan) The Instapundit informs us that this phenomenon is common enough to have a name:  the Gore Effect.
