The latest setback in the War Against Christmas comes as some unnamed rabbi manages to strongarm the Sea-Tac Airport into removing all their Christmas trees. Isn’t Seattle the same town where some unhinged jihadi-wannabe attacked a synagogue? It’s about time the folks in Seattle woke up and smelled something besides coffee.
Update (12 December). The rabbi and the Sea-Tac Airport folks have finally come to their senses. The trees are going back up — and next year there’s going to be a menorah, too.
The rabbi offered to give the port an electric menorah to display, said his lawyer, Harvey Grad.
"We are not going to be the instrument by which the port holds
Christmas hostage," Grad said. He said the rabbi had received "all
kinds of calls and e-mails," many of them "odious," over the issue.

Grad said the rabbi never sought removal of the trees, only addition of the menorah.
