When did THIS happen?

What has turned the victors of the Battle of Britain into such a bunch of wusses? We have men and women in battle dress–not dress blues or greens–battle dress in every store, classroom, and loncheria in town. I guess the average Londoner would faint dead away here in San Antonio.
