Another Namesake Bites the Dust….

My name is Mr. Thambo Mendoza, I was the House Manager and personal Assistant to late Mr. Adam Michael, [Well, obviously we’re related.] a national of your country who died along with his wife and his two sons in a ghastly motor accident along Eastern Cape-Johannesburg express way in August 13, 1999, in which all the occupants in the vehicle lost their lives. I am sending you this message asking for your cooperation for our both benefit.

My late employer was before his death, a successful businessman, accomplished as a family man, who made enough fortune before his untimely death. My late Master was involved in exploration in South Africa and he left behind many Bank deposits in South Africa and other parts of the world. This transaction I am intimating you with is one of such deposits.

 

Before his death, my employer deposited Twenty Million, Two Hundred Thousand United States Dollar ($20,200,000.00) with a Finance Firm in Hong Kong . After the death of my employer, the Finance Firm in Hong Kong had been contacting me and his Attorney to provide his next of kin who should inherit this fortune. Since then I had made several inquiries on my own to locate any of my master’s extended relative but this exercise has proved unsuccessful. After several unsuccessful attempts to trace his relatives, I decided to do a random search on the internet to try trace any one remotely related to him by blood or name. [Yup, after only SEVEN YEARS of fruitless searching]

 

Despairing at the point of exhaustiveness, fortunately, I came across your name, to my utmost amazement; you are nationals of the same country. [What are the chances of that? Like 1 in… 3?] Convinced that you may be linked with my late employer or that you might provide clue to my search, I therefore, decided to contact you with these facts before me because of the situation now .By virtue of my closeness to the deceased and his immediate family, I am very much aware of my employer’s financial standing and the bank account he operates. It is possible that you do not have any family link with my late employer, but, for the fact that you share the same name, we can do this, with your cooperation.

 

At this rate, my entire extended family will die in auto accidents somewhere in Africa…
