Credit where credit is due

I’ve used this quotation frequently in my statistics classes, but today
was the first time I’d looked it up.  The late Edsger Dijkstra
wrote a great obituary for Dr. S;  the University of Texas was
enlightened enough to keep a large body Dr Dijkstra’s writings online. 
Dijkstra’s lectures were always stimulating, and he was a holy terror
during Q&A at colloquium.  I wish I could have heard van de
Snepscheut.
