OK, I’ll play…

November is Diversity Month at UTSA.  I had not even realized I was participating in the
festivities until one of my more astute students made an observation
during lecture. I had just drawn an intricate graph on the blackboard
using colored chalk chalk of color when she said, "Oh, look! Diversity chalk!"

Meanwhile, I suggest you read this.

“We are not content with negative obedience, nor even
with the most abject submission. When finally you surrender
to us, it must be of your own free will. We do not
destroy the heretic….We convert him, we capture his
inner mind, we reshape him….You must love Big
Brother. It is not enough to obey him; you must love
him.”—O’Brien to Winston, in George Orwell, 1984

Tip from the perennially-interesting Joanne Jacobs.

Update (12 November):  OK, Diversity Kids, fun’s over, everyone out of the pool.  Tip from Instapundit.

Update (13 November):  Dr Helen Smith, the world’s most attractive forensic psychologist, weighs in.
